Damien at the Speed of Life

If you haven’t been tuning in, my wife and I decided to take our “last hurrah” family vacation before school starts (I’m a teacher) in Vegas. I thought it might be entertaining to you and fun for me if I made a list of the reasons we didn’t go somehwere else (we considered many places). BTW, I am there now, this is a future time stamped post courtesy of the amazing talents of the Wordpress software staff (and of course my amazing writing abilities):

1. Budget. It is cheaper than ALL options we looked at. We live 3 hours South by car.
2. It’s beautiful. The structures against the backdrop of the Nevada desert is something generations have sung about and enjoyed.
3. Relaxing. Our hotel has a huge pool with a waterslide for the kids. The ambiance of the strip is like being at a carnival in a dream.
4. We get to hear all our CD’s on the drive.
5. There’s lots of place for my 1 and 3 year olds to run around to get their crazies out.
6. We don’t gamble (by choice not hang-up), so that’s not a drawback.
7. They have a cool movie theatre on the strip.
8. We reminisce about our wedding there in 2002.
9. We ususally see someone we know. -and-
10. Elvis is everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
