Home alarms are interesting commodities. One one hand you like them because they protect your family and your valuables. On the other hand, some companies charge you an arm and a leg. I’ve learned there is a middle ground to getting peace of mind. Many homes (possibly yours) like mine have existing materials for home alarms wired into them. These make up a “skeleton” of all you need and it can cut a lot of money off your installation. We actually had a guy come around and tell us that in our particular neighborhood all but one he has checked had everything they needed to start for nothing but the price of the monthly service fee. If you’ve seen strange wires or boxes in your house, you could be a candidate for a deal!
