		<description>Hi Nick.  There is a plugin called &quot;Sideblog&quot; I used for a couple days and now am not using.  What it does is enable you to make short posts called &quot;asides&quot; that don&#039;t show in the reader but you can place anywhere in your template.

I found putting a Twitter call up there worked better because it didn&#039;t increase my post count falsely.  Also, it takes the clicking reader to my Twitter account where they can join up, &quot;follow&quot; me andstart Twittering themselves.  We&#039;ll see how long the plan works :)  I do like the idea of having short post updates, or asides, at the top of my blog.  It lets people know I am a warm body over here.</description>
