Blog Safari

Hello there! You’re invited to hop in the yellow Jeep and come along on the blog safari. I found a few prize animals this week and I’m excited to share them with you. From religion to Google PR, you’re in for a treat. Feel free to lean out of the jeep and put yourself in grave danger because as you know … it’s not a real safari ;)

BTW: Thanks for checking out these links I valued this week. To read more of the posts I find valuable and/or entertaining check out all my favorites on .

Vital Signs at Express Image Publications
This quote came to mind after reading this article: “Some people in the world that make it hardest to be Christians are other Christians.” -Dr. Ron Enroth

Thanks to authors like Chuck Smith Jr, for shining light on what being a Christian looks like, in “Vital Signs.”

Angela Maiers Educational Services: The Path Towards a…
I love this notion. It has to do with taking control and being a “mother hen” over you babies, your students, whatever you call them. Fostering organic and high levels of learning is what it is all about:
From the post: “We should all be looking for ways of creating the conditions for learning as an education organization, a classroom teacher, a leader or as a coach. We should always seek to create an environment where people (ALL people) feel entrusted with the mission and equipped with the tools, training, and systems to succeed.”

Why The The Struggle For PR Is A Waste Of Time at WassupBlog
From the article “…you’d be better off trying to improve your SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) because that’s what’s going to send people to your blog, not a high PR. As far as I’m concerned the only time PR would be a factor is if it affected my SERP! Say, for example, there were 6 or more sites all relying on the same search term and Google decided that the one with the highest PR went to the top of the page, only then would it have some value for me. Other than that I reckon it’s all a waste of time.”

Earnings for December 2009 on Dragon Blogger
These are great blog-stats that show how money is made in the trade. Online publishing is an art form and not all companies pay out well for all bloggers. It is a process of finding out what pays for you and what you can live with in regards to what you consider value.

Art that Matters at Confident Writing
I love the idea of determining “value” for online publishing. Confident Writing gives a great quote by Seth Godin to get the writing year off to a high “art” start. Sometimes ideas are as good as http://www.humangrowthhormone.org to gain success.
