I had a great Summer. As I sit back here by the pool, I find myself learning
to blog on my PDA. It’s different and I like it. I feel 2009 will hold many
treasures. I think I am in a position to do good every day. That will be my
goal. This type of moblog doesn’t allow pics but I can insert one later.
Pretty cool I think. AND there is no character limit, unlike the mobile text
messaging. To view my first text message moblog from my cell phone.

Above is a text message moblog post published here from my cell phone. The photo was added later. I learned there is a 160 SMS character limit to blogging by phone. Hey, that’s 20 more than Twitter! I can blog from anywhere now. FYI: I use an LG phone to text to a Wordpress blog. I chose to explore this as a result of Joanna’s challenge. I think it could be a fun new thing to do sometimes. Mission Impossible conquered ;) I’m really glad I started moblogging. To see a PDA Moblog go to my first post I did that way. PDA moblogs have no character limit because they are just emails published via Outlook. It isn’t an LCD TV, but it’s pretty darn cool if you asked me.

The neon glow from my pool relaxes me as I sit and write my second moblog
from an Adirondack chair. There is so much to do this year, so much to
read,so much to blog. I imagine these moblogs will become part of the
blogging book that is my life. In between domestic duties like fixing the vacuum
and shopping online for a replacement lamb motor
I’ll be blogging the stuff that happens.
To be forty and alive in the midst of all this technology is truly
mesmerizing. The crickets are chirping and they seem to say “breathe, live
while you can.” Have I ever shared with you how much I thrive on evening
Summer air?
