“The best way to get good behavior in the classroon is a dynamite lesson plan.” That’s what my master teacher told me in my last semester of my teacher training. It’s probably the best advice I ever received. In the picture you see me with the Superintendent of Education for California, Jack O’Connell, he is one tall guy! He is also one who understand teaching kids requires planning and patience. To do it well requires even more than that. When he visited my classroom I had a chance to share some great ideas. These are necessary to a successful teaching career. Some of them you come up with on your own and most of them you get from your colleagues and others. That’s what this carnival is here for: to share ideas.
We’re all seeking the “dynamite lesson plan” in education. My vision for this carnival, Education Safari, is to link hundreds of great ideas and create a professional learning community. You can read past and current editions through the links in the widget below. If you have a post to submit, I encourage you to do so through the submit link. Don’t give up when you feel defeated, get creative and teach with vision!
