		<description>I worry about that, too. I think that&#039;s why I&#039;ve become so fond of the little emoticons :) I agree, that nothing serious should be discussed in an email. Not only because of the chance of misinterpretation, but also because it&#039;s a little easier perhaps to say something you don&#039;t mean in an email when you don&#039;t have to say it to someone&#039;s face.

One thing I do notice is the transition between two generations of users - the &quot;instant message generation&quot; (IMG) and the &quot;old skoolers&quot; (OS).  The IMG is not as patient as the OS.  I was once in the OS and now I am more IMG.  I need to remind myself that my laptop and my hip are not conjoined twins.
