I’m being sarcastic here of course, but until you have 2 kids under 5 running your life, you will never know the annoyance of Disney videos 24/7. My three year old is screaming: “Winnie the Pooh, by myself.” Translation: “Don’t put the video in, let me destroy it and the vcr for myself.
It’s fair to say that certain things are regional: if you’re in North Carolina, you get medical coverage through Blue Cross North Carolina. But if you have 2 kids under five you suffer a general and generic case of the universal kid bug. Of course, I love my kids dearly and would choose having them to not. Still, it’d be nice to get a high five from somebody out there who is “speaking my language.”

Try 3 under 3! I can so relate!!!
Hahahahaha! That is parenting for you and the terrible two’s, three’s, four’s, five’s etc. etc. hahahaha… I guess being parents our lives is definitely run by them … I often, when in a depressing mode say, my life is not mine anymore.
Good luck to your 40th… I started my blog for my 30th :)
Thank you so much. I’ll be getting your blog on my blogroll this weekend. Thanks for stopping by.
That’s funny, Dude:) Imagine having 8 kids? I guess, my parents are lucky there’s no TV at that time in our island, hahaha! whenever their firends will visit come to visit, we all have to go upstairs and stay in the room- no talking till they will be gone…how’s that? Otherwise, we’re in big trouble :(
Oh, That is so funny. I can remember Toy Story 24/7. Now my youngest son is 12 going on 35 and here comes the grandkids. I am so sick of Shrek 1, 2 and 3.
I only have one thing to say, GO FISHING!!!

Yeah, it gets that way. You just learn to like Little foot and all those shows :)
Well, as you know, I had 4 kids ages 4 and under, but that was a while back and it was Barney around here. Barney videos, Barney dolls, Barney bedding and curtains….
I knew when I was humming the “I Love You” song all by myself in the middle of a mall, we had to take a Barney break :)
I feel sorry for you and am very happy I don’t have children!
@Karen, author of “My Funny Dad, Harry”: LOL. This was about a year ago when I wrote it and I am so glad I did. What a slice in time. The madness of parenting children is wonderful sometimes. Still, I do sometimes recall the single days fondly :)
