Mosquitos, Teachers, and Field Trips

Mosquitos drive everyone crazy, including teachers like me. In fact, as a teacher you know they get you and your students at the most inopportune times. The Mosquito Magnet is an excellent solution. Consider this, if there are ever times you:

  1. go on field trips
  2. have cookouts
  3. do car wash fundraisers
  4. do pe in the field for soccer or other sports
  5. swim
  6. camp
  7. do stuff outside with your kids … etc.

then chances are you have been attacked by mosquitos as a teacher. I hope you agree that outdoor teaching events such as these are useful. I might even argue they are invaluable.

My son went to his teachers’ house to swim as a year-end party when he was in third grade. There were a lot of mosquitos that day and he came home with quite a few bites. A mosquito magnet would have been a great thing there. These days it isn’t just the annoyance of them that bothers me, it’s the threat of West Nile Virus and any other form of blood borne virus that may present itself. The mosquito magnet takes care of these worries. This is one of the best investments an ASB or PTA can make if they take kids outdoor places. Don’t take my word for it though, read this mosquito magnet review and judge for yourself.

I am recommending teachers out there who do outdoor events get a mosquito magnet in their budget as soon as possible. They are also great for use with your own family on camping trips and times at the beach. I teach my kids grammar lessons through folk-tales and perhaps you recall the classic Why Mosquitos Buzz in People’s Ears. I really like that book, especially the end where you can’t discern what the insect is saying. Let me translate it for you, he’s telling you NOT to buy a Mosquito Magnet.
