Facebook is a great way to network with friends, but I wanted needed something more promotional for my blog work. Last week, I discovered and created just the right thing at Facebook for that: a fan page. I’m excited now to have my own “fan page” on Facebook showcasing all my online publishing. I invite you to become a fan and enjoy the ride with me.

By becoming a fan, you’ll get special updates of what I am up to on my 3 main blogs, my podcast, and other exciting web projects.
It’s been crazy lately with so much work. I remember in the early days all I wanted to do was write consistently. Now, there is so much opportunity to write, these blogs have become like a second career. Beyond writing these blogs, I’m also getting many opportunities to mentor and be a webmaster again, which I love doing.
Things have never been more exciting for creating and innovating blogs.

I got you on the flip side. Love the massive brew, by the way!
So how does it work, Damien? If you’ve 10 blogs you’re only allowed one FB fan page? That’s great at least for your followers since they can keep tabs on your blog in one place. Nice idea.
As far as I can tell, you can have lots of FB pages. This one is a personality page where I promote my stuff. I find it a better alternative for my blogging buddies and/or fans of my writing. Regular Facebook is small town and no one is a hero in a small town ;)
