So my wife and I were watching one of the major news shows doing a story on the mom of the octuplets. I had a lot of thoughts running through my mind and I wanted to set them down here.
Q: Why did this woman want so many kids?
A: She may be lacking something in her childhood although her mother has been raising her kids with her and offering her childcare as well. She also may have found more attention with more kids. I really don’t know the reason. I do know that raising my 3 kids is truly a challenge and cannot comprehend having as many kids as she has.
Q: How can student loans raise her kids as she asserted they would?
A: Student loan limits are the price of tuition, books and housing. This is nowhere near the amount required to raise all her kids. Besides that, the loans have to be paid back. I can tell you because I have one I pay on each month. You can’t bankrupt on them so they stay with you your whole life. Does she know this? Will she get a career to pay them back? If so, who will raise her kids? I’m afraid this idiotic statement she made about financing her family raises only more questions and no answers.
I think it’s fitting that octo-mommy had eight kids at the same time because she reminds me of someone with multiple personalities. You might say 8 or even more. I find this lady reprehensible and it’s too bad she has brought this minion of kids into the world because they will lack a leader and an example for happiness in life. The fact that she admits going back to get the sperm of the same donor over and over again in itself portrays a twisted mom. Why not find a partner and procreate with him? She is odd and selfish in my opinion. They are talking about a miniseries about her life. I can tell you one show I won’t be TIVO-ing. Since her story hit the tabloids she’s has a membership card for club disaster.
Am I off-base in my thinking? What do you think about the octo-mommy?

She is living in delusion. I think the doctor that filled her up with all these babies should be responsible for their care or shot. He must be as nuts as she is!

There is mental dysfunction she had to cross the border to have a doctor who would let her keep and gestate 8 fetuses. She is attention crazy and starved for it, she already had like 6 other kids.
Here is the thing, if you want a family of 20 kids I am perfectly okay with it, but you “BUILD” toward that goal, sustain an income and lifestyle to support that many. Don’t plan on having 8 kids knowing you will have to live on charity, donations and wellfare to make it through.
Love is also having the forethought to plan and make the child as successful and cared for as possible.
