Old Reliable Foods

I learned to make pizza early in college. I still go down to the store and buy yeast, mozzarella, sauce, and flour with a few toppings and make up a little joy. Home-made pizza is my “old reliable” food. [Derek Semmler dot com] was talking about Velveeta Mac and Cheese recently. Do you have an old reliable that you like to make and really enjoy eating? If so . . . let me know I need a list of foods like these. (Hopefully cheap stuff too).

I didn’t mention it in my post but even easier than mac-n-cheese is something we all love in our house and that is a simple pot of buttered noodles. Select whatever pasta noodle you have in the house, cook it up and add a little butter and then salt/pepper if you wish.

Oh yeah! With Parmesan cheese too, those rock.

Old reliable but “newer” brand, Emeril’s Kicked up Tomato (or the garlic one) spaghetti sauce and spaghetti or rigatoni, spicy.

Eggs and french fries and baked beans.

Whoa! on the “Eggs and french fries and baked beans.” Is that a local favorite?
