Since starting this podcast last November, I’ve learned a lot about how to do it. I’ve got the equipment I need now to make it sound quality. Here’s what I use:
Shure SM 58 mic
Fostex 8 track cassette board
Cooledit Pro (now “Adobe Audition”) multi-track and mixing software.
Audible (on occasion as an alternative mixer/recorder)
Snippets for intro/salutation
I’ve been faithful at producing one a week but am learning if I want to have any advertiser interest it is going to have to be at least 7/month or about twice a week. I’m basing this on the 20 posts in last 90 days requirement that most sponsored post companies have.
