Is it wrong to recommend something you don’t know that well but love the look of? Remember The Milk is a new productivity web-based service I have been using over the past 3 weeks and I’ve decided to start using it indefinitely.

Prior to using it, I used Outlook and Google Calendar to keep my tasks and dates organized. Since I found Remember the Milk (RTM for short) I’ve discovered that making and keeping tasks is not only rewarding but also a lot of fun!

RTM takes some learning, it’s not for the beginner computer user. But as you begin to add tasks and categories while you integrate it with iCalendar, Outlook, iGoogle, Google Calendar and more recently, “Twitter,” you will see that RTM is an innovative little company that will continue to grow with technology. Oh, and the best part for me is: it’s FREE! I’ll continue to play around with it and report what I find. For starters, check out this “quick add” feature and the demo video that goes with it. I think you’ll find it cool:

My hubby would probably like this a lot! Would you believe that I don’t ever use an appointment calendar or make lists (except for the grocery store) of any kind? I never have. My memory for this kind of stuff is like a trap.

It makes the hubby a little bit crazy because he’s always making lists and updating his appointment calendar and has no idea how I can juggle my job appointments and the lives of four busy teenagers without writing it all down, but I do.

My wife is like that, but even she is interested in the features I have shared with her. I just gave her the link to try out. Let me introduce Myself to you:

    I am the absent-minded professor.

    Hence, my interest in rememberthemilk.com
    :)
