Whether the wacky show was about the humor of mattresses one week or coffee table books about coffee tables the next, I always greatly enjoyed Seinfeld when it was running. Now, many years after its syndication, I get the same happy feeling from watching it. I never thought I could enjoy reruns so much.
It’s rare that a tv comedy show has such staying power. I mean, we can all remember watching shows at some point in our lives that we don’t enjoy watching reruns of. Seinfeld is a hit in my house with my wife and I no matter whether we have seen the episodes or not.
My favorite episode is the one where George acts like a big shot and gives the security guard in a store a chair to rest in. While George is so proud of his good deed, the show ends with the credits rolling as the guard is snoring away in his gifted chair.
Are you a fan? If so … what’s your favorite Seinfeld moment?

I must admit that I can not recall any Seinfeld moment as believe it or not, I have yet to see the full series myself. I love the show, I just set it aside in detriment to watching “Friends” which I have probably saw and “re-saw” about 10 times already:) Maybe it is time to change my favorite series…
The one where they bet on who could resist masturbating for the longest amount of time. Was it Elaine or Kramer who gave up first?
I don’t watch those reruns unless the remote is somewhere else & I don’t want to get up, but Everybody Loves Raymond is a show I can watch over and over again. :-)
I love Seinfeld! Favorite episode? That’s a tough one! But one that comes to mind is when Elaine grabs George’s tupee and throws it out the window.
I’m a huge Seinfeld fan! Not just one favorite. Black & white cookie, marble rye, waiting for a seat at the Chinese restaurant, Banya, Newman, they’re all brilliant! If you’re a fan, you should check out Curb Your Enthusiasm.
I enjoye watching Seinfeld! But i like Friends more. hehehe. :D
If I had to name just a single sitcom as my favorite of all-time, it would be a difficult choice, but I think I would ultimately decide on Seinfeld. It was remarkably witty and insightful, yet down to Earth and simple.
It is impossible to nail it down to just a single favorite Seinfeld moment. There was the time when George’s mom “caught” him, Jerry’s puffy shirt, George’s “shrinkage” at the beach house, the time Kramer got a golf ball stuck in a blowhole, Elaine determining whether her boyfriend was sponge-worthy… the list goes on and on, and I haven’t even mentioned Papi or the Soup Nazi yet.
@Angelika: Kramer was out first. (here’s the episode wiki)
@reyjr: I used to like Friends more, but I definitely like Seinfeld more now. Maybe it’s an age thing.
Michael … those are some great Seinfeld memories! Great comment thanks.
