Setting reasonable goals is a key to happiness and success. It’s the courage to make those goals and the wisdom to see what you might achieve that separates the average from the truly great.
The key when coaching anyone is to try many many approached until you find one that works. Don’t give up on people. I have found most people will come around and appreciate you for being patient and try again and again.
I measure my 3 blogs’ progress toward goals. You can browse current and past entries in the CAN… category.
CAN stands for:
Circulation: Incoming links.
Analytics: # of visitors
Net: Money made or key takeaways. (Because money isn’t everything.)
I often use shorthand in referring to my blogs:
