safari vehicleI have some amazing blogs on my blogroll and I read them often. These linked below are some of the best I read last week. Enjoy!

Memoir Writing – Write Tribe. Corinne gives us a guest blogger who writes on the online diary genre, indirectly. I don’t consider my blog memoirs 100% although studying how to write them will certainly help any online diarist. Follow Corinne on Twitter, she’s an amazing blogger @CorinneBlogs

I’m Just Sharing » Marketing When Your SEO Seems To Be Failing You. A great article. I like Mitch as a blogger because he is “no-nonsense.” Rather than talk about automation he gets into the nitty gritty of content and what really works to turn the wheels. He is a blogger of high integrity.

Entranced | Jennifer’s Journal.

A Rare and Wonderful Children’s Book Called Cats – A Crock of Schmidt This blogger has one of the coolest and humorous blog titles I’ve ever run across.

More on Happiness (or Why Costa Rica Is Happier than Japan) – Beyond the Rhetoric. Michael Kwan puts quality writing out on a consistent basis. If you don’t have him on your reading list, I recommend him. He doesn’t just write about blogging. He is most assuredly an online diarist.

Guppy Steals Angelfish’s Phone – Dad on the Loose. Really funny with minimal text!

The Thursday Ten: British Invasion artists | The Sound of One Hand Typing. Love British music!

Voodoo Magic & Witch Doctors. Another great one from “Jack” though he isn’t really Jack. I can’t help calling him that here. LOL.

With great responsibility comes great power | The Philospher’s Stone.

Sometimes Marriage Looks Like Jerking on Date Night – I hate writing on Fridays – Pancakes & Cider. I’ve been checking out this blog and it’s a really interesting “he said/she said” kind of format. He and his wife contribute. This is the “he” of the couple getting a bit frustrated in a “personal” way and having the guts to blog about it. I think every married guy has been there a time or two. Let’s hope they worked it out! I’m looking forward to more online diary stuff from this blogger.

Blog Safari 1-25-15

safari vehicleI have some amazing blogs on my blogroll and I read them daily. These linked below are some of the best I read last week. Enjoy!

The Sound of One Hand Typing | John Holton’s blog. Class AAA blogger John Holton asks the question how do you switch quickly from fast mind to slow mind. Pretty deep actually.

Writing Resolutions For 2015? – Write Tribe. What a great idea. It’s not too late to make some writing resolutions.

The Greatest Dad Blogger You Never Heard Of. I read this and realized I need to get cracking on my fan skills of Jack. His name is not Jack!!! Whatever his name is, he’s been blogging about as long as me, we’re both dads and … oh yeah, the guy can write!

Driving Through Kingfield, Maine : Destinations : JayGaulard.com Blog. These “car hood” videos are so great. Jay is a great blogger and now you can add videoographer to his accolades.

I’m Just Sharing » When Free Plugins Ruin Your Life. This is an awesome post because it reflects what all us WordPress bloggers have experienced. The plugins are mostly free but that opens you up to the frustration of sorting through their bugs sometimes. I look to Mitch when I want a solid, well reasoned word or two. He always delivers!

MLK Quote #MondayMusings #MicroblogMondays – Everyday Gyaan. A “prompt” about thinking that is given to prompt you to think. Think about it! Great post as usual from Corrine.

Wanderlust: 25 Places to Visit Before I Retire – Beyond the Rhetoric. Michael Kwan is a solid writer who has a keen knowledge of blogging professionally. In this post he shares some places. We all need to “get out more” and he tells us where.
